Shri Arihant Dev
Those who are entirely free from all the four types of destructive karmic matter
(ghati karmas) and possess the highest attributes: omniscience, eternal bliss,
infinite vision and infinite power; and are crowned with the thirty four
extra-ordinary glories called 'atishayas'. Including external and internal,
there are forty six attributes of Shri Arihanta Dev in total. They still
have a body.
Shri Siddha Bhagwan
Those souls who have destroyed the bondage of eight types of karmic matter,
are possessed of the eight great attributes, reside at the top most part
of the Universe and are the most exalted and indestructible supreme perfect
souls.
Shri Acharya
Those monks who are possessed of five kinds of conduct, who
are firm in their determination, and who are profound in virtue and
are the Heads of the order of monks. The acharyas have 36 rites -
mulgunas.
Shri Upadhyay
Those monks who are brave, possessed of three jewels (i.e. right faith, knowledge,
and conduct), are undaunted preachers of the substances, elements, etc. The
upadhyays have 25 rites - mulgunas - and are the teachers of the order of
monks.
Shri Sadhu/Muni
Those who are free from all worldly occupations, are always deeply absorbed
in four kinds of contemplations (aradhanas) and are without possession and
delusions. Sadhus have 28 rites - mulgunas
