Beginners Jainism Weekend Shibir
The Paryushan festival this year falls over two weekends and we have organised a beginners Jainism Shibir to take place on both weekends (Saturday 3rd – Sunday 4th; Saturday 10th – Sunday 11th September) from 3.30 – 4.30pm. Pt Virendraji will take the basics of 7 Tattva and 6 Dhhala in very simple Hindi/English and there will be present translation assistance if required to facilitate learning. It presents an ideal opportunity for all families and ‘youngsters’ to introduce, re-engage and cement the basic fundamentals of Jainism in a relaxed and supportive environment; these opportunities do not present themselves frequently and we would urge everyone to attend!
