In
March 2006, our mandir was graced by the visit of our Pratishta Acharya
- Bal Brahmachari Shri Abhinandan Kumar Jain Shastri, Khaniyandhana.
He was accompanied by our Nirdeshak - Pt. Ashok Kumar Luhariya, Teerthdhaam
Mangalayatan, our PC member and India co-ordinator - Shri Pawanbhai
Jain and his wife Ashaben. There was a four day "vidhan puja" of
170 Tirthankars which was attended by many members. The 'manuhar'
patrika was written on Sunday 26th March 2006 – Falgun Vad
12 and it was a very joyous occasion with music and dancing. There
were about 150 members present and most members were given the opportunity
to write and invite various Jain institutions and dignitaries. The
trip culminated on Sunday 2nd April with the welcoming (swagat) of
all the participants in the forthcoming Panchkalyanak Pratishta Mahotsav.
This included Mata-Pita of the bhagwan (Shri Navnitbhai and Shrimati
Suryakalaben Shah), Saudharma Indra-Sachi Indrani (Shri Sandipbhai
and Shrimati Smitaben
Shah) and the rest of the Indra sabha and Raj sabha. The dream had
become a reality!!
June 2006 - Vedi Shilanyas
A magnificent lotus shaped Vedi (a platform to place the Lord Shree Mahavir Bhagwan) has been constructed in the Mandir (Temple). Shree Jayantilal Devraj Malde and family had the privelege of taking part in the ceremony of the foundation laying called VEDI SHILANYAS of this Vedi on 24 June 2006 when over 100 Mumukshus placed silver tokens in the foundation. Pundit Sanjay Shastri of Teerthdham Manglayatan who was accompanied by Pundit Virendraji Jain of Agra performed the ceremony. A three-day ceremony of Ratnatrai Vidhan was performed with rhythmic musical chanting of hymns of this Pooja with Pundit Shree Shanjay Shashtri and Virendraji.
This was followed by the launch of the final Panchkalyanak Pratistha Mahotsav Kankotri or invitation on 25 June 2006 in the presence of over 200 Mumukshus amidst pomp and celebration. On this occasion Ashtdevis performed a dance and the Indranis and Ranis carried the Patrika into the Mandir in a colourful manner with joyous dancing. The 'lekhan vidhi' marked the official start of the mahamahotsav.
