Pathshala

The association has re-started the pathshala that used to be run during the 1990s. This was intended for young children initially. Presently, only older children and adults have been attending and thus, the material being taught has been aimed at them. Preserving the knowledge of Jainism for future generations is important to SDJA and thus the association is willing to set up an additional class dedicated to very young children.

If you or anyone you know would be interested in a class for young children (parents can accompany) please inform them about this possibility and please e-mail us on our contact page to register your interest.

SDJA is currently running one class a week on Sunday mornings. This is conducted by our member Meenaben S Shah in English. This class is for one hour from 11.30 - 12.30. This is a beginners class for anyone interested in learning about Jainism, ALL are welcome.
