Swami vatsalya
For this year’s Swami Vatsalya bhojan, the cultural team have organised something very special. You are invited to witness the wedding of Rajkumar Shree Nemikumar with Rajul, a very famous event in Jain history, which will be enacted by a group of talented budding actors, selected from our very own membership. The performance has been planned and rehearsed over the last few months, and promises to be an engaging and memorable event.
The venue for the wedding enactment is the Masefield Suite at Harrow Leisure Centre. There is free parking for 3 hours at the leisure centre, however, A VALID TICKET MUST BE DISPLAYED. We have confirmed with HLC, that if anyone needs to park for longer than three hours, another free ticket can be obtained from the machine to cover a further 3 hours.
Please aim to arrive there between 11am and 11:15am (no Indian timing please). As with any Indian wedding, the performance will be followed by a delicious lunch, which will be served from 12:30pm.
This will be a Swami Vatsalya bhojan not to be missed. To register your place at the event, please provide your name and numbers to our Pujari Nileshbhai. There is a £10 charge per person, £5 for all children under 8. To enable us to make accurate catering arrangements, please provide your details no later than Wednesday 26th September.
