We will be having a guest speaker, H H Shree Madabhinava Charurkeerthi Bhattarakaru, this Sunday 31st July between 10.30-11.30 am.
His Holiness Shree Madabhinava Charurkeerthi Bhattarakaru is head of the Moodabiri (Jain Kashi) Matha/Monastery, which is nearly 800 years old monastery located in the coastal part of Karnataka state, South India.

 H H Bhattarakaru is the care taker of oldest & sacred Jain agama scriptures of Jainism, the “Moolaagama” and “Parama Moolaagama”renowned as Dhawala granta (Scripts) found in their original form on palm leaves (4500 in number), namely “The Samayasara”, “Acharya Kunda Kundara Pravachana Sara”, “Niyama Sara”, “Mokshamarga Prakasha”, “Ishtopadesha”, “Kalyana Karaka” are in the famous Jain Kashi Math/Monastery.  
H H Bhattarakaru has in depth Knowledge about Jainism, Guides/Guru for all the traditional Jain agamas, rituals, Vidana’s, Panchakalyan, Pratishtan and Jain practices. H H Bhattarakaru actively work with all the Jain panth & sects to unite Jain community and also intra-faith forms across the world.
H H Bhattarakaru represents Jainism at international religious forms across the world, like World religious Parliament, International interfaith forms and also advocates for animal rights. 

Moodabidri town is also as called Jain Kashi, Jains live in and around Moodabidri since 3rd century B.C. Moodabiri has a 800 year old Jain mutt/Monastery &18 heritage ancient Jain temples, among them the famous one is Temple of Thousand pillars, it is one of the biggest heritage Jain temple (three level building) in the world.

Moodabidri Jain matha/monetary also has a collection of thousands of antic Jain idols made of Gold, silver, precious gems like Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, Coral, Topaz.

Moodabidri is the centre for higher studies in Jainism and it houses the Rama Rani Research Centre and Library which preserves the ancient Dhavala Trilogy (Dhavala, Jaya Dhavala and Maha Dhavala) Jain scripts in palm leaves. Jain scholars and researchers from across the world visit Moodabdri Jain Kashi Matha/Monetary to do research work in Jainism.
